I Also Have A Lot of Cookbooks
Seriously, I better start making wallets out of these or my friends are going to put me on A&E. That's the channel with the hording show, right? I don't have cable.

Cooking with Jello and "Gel". Sketchy?

An entire cookbook devoted to lard cakes. Not OK. Ever.

I'm excited about Dining With Dave. He seems classy.

I wonder how long that kid had to hold the sandwich-face-cramming pose. I imagine things taking longer in the '30s.

The 1954 Good Housekeeping mag is mind-blowingly awesome. I love every single page.

Deviled Eggs in Aspic- Not So Timeless
This new slim wallet series has made me hungry.
J-E-L-L-O W-A-L-L-E-T-S
From the Big Boy BBQ Book. Lots of recipes for rabbit and lobster. Classy.
Mexican Breakfast, BBQ fruit, and Pies.
My favorite one is" "Husbands become the experts and do the barbecuing. Wives take it easy. All they have to do is make the salad and desert. The kitchen stays clean. The house remains neat. There is almost no wash-up afterwards."

Secret, once yummy, recipes inside. Learn the essential skill of putting spare ribs on a Spit.

I heart San Francisco
Because I'm feeling the love for my city lately, I've listed another stack of San Francisco Neighborhood Slim Wallets in my Etsy shop.
And that's right- another photo of another stack of Muni Fast Pass Wallets. I've finally listed them in my Etsy Shop. This is the last month of the paper Fast Pass so let's celebrate the only good thing about SF public transportation- The Fast Pass!
If you have any old Muni Fast Passes you no longer want, please feel free to donate them to me (or we could trade for some oranges from my tree or a beer)... Let me know in the comments section and I'll get in touch ;)

Jacques Cousteau, Ghosts and the Frozen City.
I had my 199th Etsy sale on Friday (pats self on back)- a slim wallet of Rome, sold minutes before I went to lunch at an Italian restaurant. do do do do, do do do do.
I have 2 more custom orders to complete and restock the inventory of the 6 shops that carry my wallets before I get to take a break from making wallets (above) and move focus to the band... Hungry, Hungry Ghost.
Until then- more sewing, cold hands, tired fingers, 11 hour work days, and song practice on lunch breaks.

New Postcard Wallets in the shop soon
Here's a sample of what the new vintage postcard wallets look like. They're all sent to SF from Europe in the 70's. I love every part of them but the formal addresses are my favorite.

Oh, the places I have been
I have so much more exploring to do. This is all I've done so far:
I made about 30 map wallets this weekend and they're almost ready to post on Etsy... Here's the SF vs. Oakland map wallet I posted this morning:
SF Etsy Street Team made the Storque!
I did my second craft fair last month and there was just a write up about it on the front page of Esty!

We are adventuring, we are adventurers
I love this song. It sums up what Heathered is all about- adventuring.
Unicorns of the sea
In honor of my Narwhallets, the unicorns of the sea, I'd like to share with you my favorite internet time-wasting activity (besides lol cats); CORNIFY!!

Well, hello there blog readers!
Lots of productivity this week!
Yesterday, I scooted over and dropped off 31 wallets at Urban Bazaar- a brand new women-owned and operated store in San Francisco's Inner Sunset (1371 9th Ave). Here's their Facebook page for more info: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Urban-Bazaar/112855868760120?v=info
Here's a preview of what's at Urban Bazaar
I also started a website: http://heathered.weebly.com/index.html I'm still adding to it right now so look for new how-to videos and better photos (better than my iPhone ones). Weebly was pretty straight forward and easy to set up. It only took about 30 mins to get the basics published.
